Striking table arrangements have always played a major role at MEISSEN. It should come as no surprise then that the manufactory’s tableware collections include porcelain plates of numerous designs and epochs in different sizes and shapes to realise any idea at the table. Small plates for side dishes, breakfast ingredients, pastries or chocolates, rectangular plates for sushi, large oval or square plates for roasts, round ones for cakes and tarts or for artful fruit arrangements on the dining table. Richly ornamented and opulently decorated, the plates of the "Swan Service" or the "B-Form" collections exude baroque flair. The collections "N° 41" and "MEISSEN Cosmopolitan", on the other hand, draw on a modern, purist design language. Meissen porcelain plates are also suitable as stylish repositories – or vide-poches – for jewellery, watches, smartphones and wallets.
