1739 Royal Blossom Basic Set, 750 rose gold Earrings & Collier
Order No.: MPJ80BL116C1
The "Royal Blossom Basic I" Set combines the pair of filigree ear studs with a blossom from the "1739 Royal Blossom" collection in 750 rose gold, with the matching necklace. Created in 1739 at the behest of King August III for his wife Maria Josepha, the so-called "Snowball Blossoms" are among the outstanding decorations of the Meissen manufactory. To this day, the porcelain blossoms are made from white Meissen porcelain and are now being interpreted as pieces of jewellery for the first time in Meissen history. A white diamond is enthroned in each of the ear studs as well as in the necklace with a blossom from the" 1739 Royal Blossom" collection in 750 rose gold, which gives the fine jewellery a special expressiveness. Once created by master modeller Johann Joachim Kaendler as a symbol of eternal love, the "1739 Royal Blossom" jewellery collection sets standards in the combination of fine materials and the finest porcelain.
