To this day, the "Snowball Blossoms" remain one of the Meissen manufactory´s preeminent decorative motifs. Created in 1739 at the behest of King Augustus III for his wife, Maria Josepha of Austria, the porcelain blossoms have been reinterpreted now, 300 years later, as exquisite jewellery. With their combinations of precious materials, the modern-day MEISSEN jewellery collections continually set new standards. For the "1739 Royal Blossom" collection, the delicate porcelain flowers are paired with exquisite 18 karat white gold. Every one of the "Snowball Blossoms" is shaped by hand. This white gold variant is adorned with 49 diamonds in the shape of the pistil and the inner petals, all set in white gold.
