1739 Royal Blossom Gem Ring, Tansanite blue, 60 mm

Order No.: MPJ10BL17660
5 g
To this day, the "Snowball Blossoms" remain one of the Meissen manufactory´s preeminent decorative motifs. Created in 1739 at the behest of King Augustus III for his wife, Maria Josepha of Austria, the porcelain blossoms have been reinterpreted now, 300 years later, as exquisite jewellery. With their combinations of precious materials, the modern-day MEISSEN jewellery collections continually set new standards. For the "1739 Royal Blossom" collection, the delicate porcelain flowers are paired with exquisite 18 karat rose gold. Every one of the "Snowball Blossoms" is shaped by hand with, in the blue tanzanite variant, a gleaming blue tanzanite as the pistil in the centre of each blossom, surrounded by five diamonds, all set in rose gold. Highlighting the floral, romantic character of this unique piece of jewellery, the ring is also adorned with a rose gold leaf set with 16 diamonds.
