1739 Royal Blossom Gem Ring, Tourmaline Pink, 50 mm

To this day, the "Snowball Blossoms" remain one of the Meissen manufactory's preeminent decorative motifs. Created in 1739 at the behest of King Augustus III for his wife, Maria Josepha of Austria, the porcelain blossoms have been reinterpreted now, 300 years later, as exquisite jewellery like the ring of the "1739 Royal Blossom Gem" collection. With their combinations of precious materials, the modern-day MEISSEN jewellery collections continually set new standards. For the ring "1739 Royal Blossom Gem", the delicate porcelain flowers are paired with exquisite 18 karat rosé gold. Every one of the "Snowball Blossoms" is shaped by hand with a gleaming white diamond, also set in rosé gold, as the pistil in the centre of each blossom of the ring "1739 Royal Blossom Gem". The pink tourmaline variant couples the snow-white flower with a pink tourmaline resembling a bud for a striking colour contrast.
