The original shape of the porcelain dog dates from the middle of the 18th century. As the pug has a long tradition at MEISSEN, the pug pendant "Blue Edition" is one pug pendant out of over sixty different variants. The pug "Blue Edition" carries a chain with a blue sapphire in addition to its 'bell collar'. The characteristic drawing of the dog breed was applied by hand to the trailer.
