The "Gelada Mask" belongs to a series of ten impressive animal masks created by Max Esser in the 1920s. After successful firing, the velvety surface is sanded, polished and oiled. Esser's wild animals roar and hiss back into the world the exoticism from which it was necessary to cultivate everything foreign. The sheer size, expression and special nature of the material make it impossible to escape the spell of the Dschelada. Limited to 25 pieces.
