It has never been dined in a more splendid manner than in the house of Count Heinrich von Brühl and his heirs. Johann Joachim Kaendler, Johann Friedrich Eberlein and Johann Gottlieb Ehder ensured this between 1737 and 1742 with the greatest masterpiece of Baroque porcelain art: the "Swan Service". Sculptural reliefs, forms and figures from the world of the sea and Greek mythology adorn each of the more than 2000 pieces. The name is given to the reliefs of floating swans that adorn every plate. Two nymphs flank the large shell of the world-famous "Swan Service", lined with shells.
