Shaped by hand in the Meissen manufactory, the unique new addition to the "Swan Service" brings the baroque table and festival culture from the court of August III. into today - in the tradition of Meissen porcelain. Based on the incomparable design language of the original, MEISSEN presents the deep "Swan Service Bisque" gourmet plate in bisque white - an imposing addition to the baroque luxury service. The magnificent "Swan Service" by master modeller Johann Joachim Kaendler with over 2,200 pieces was made from 1737 to 1742. It is still considered an opus magnum of German baroque art. Central decorative elements such as the eponymous swan pair or the majestic heron adorn the bulging edge of the "Swan Service Bisque" gourmet plate as delicate reliefs. Waves worked out in great detail emphasize the plasticity of the high-quality Meissen porcelain. They symbolize the leitmotif of the water. Thanks to the bisque porcelain, which is unglazed, the gourmet plate has a unique matt and slightly transparent porcelain structure.
