New Cutout Onion Pattern Vase

Order No.: 800101-50158-1
16x8 cm, 200 g
Timeless interior design from the house of Meissen, hand-painted of course: 1731 creates the radiant blue "onion pattern", which also adorns this vase of the form "New Cutout". The stylized motif may be reminiscent of onions, but in keeping with the pattern, it depicts melons and peaches, as well as bamboo and delicate blossoms. The onion pattern in cobalt blue is applied to the porcelain by specially trained underglaze painters and is thus entirely hand-painted. The vase with onion pattern was designed by Johann Joachim Kaendler in 1745. With its simple and graceful shape, the vase is an elegant classic, which as a decorative object brings interior design into your four walls.
