At the heart of the undertaking is a contemporary interpretation of the floor-standing vases owned by Augustus the Strong. Antemann's notion of paradise sees her own impish figures joined by angels, flower and types of fruit such as the pomegranate. Tiny blue birds and a hand-painted basket of apples symbolising the Garden of Eden are themes that recur throughout. Modern craftsmanship takes a knowing nod in the direction of over 300 years of European porcelain culture.
