Deriving her inspiration from the porcelain art of Johann Joachim Kaendler, the artist has joined with the Manufactory to produce a collection of one-offs and limited-edition artworks over the past decade. Their latest "Paradise Collection" venture involves five separate, intercombinable vases based on courtly, purely decorative mantelshelf vases from the 18th century - known collectively as "mantelpiece garnitures". Antemann marries her figures to historical Meissen shapes, fruit and flower painting and a violet ground - recalling the colour of Meissen vases from the 1730s.
