The two complementary "picnic vases" find Antemann parading one of her stock loving couples, lovers who are being shyly, though inquisitively, watched by another individual. The scene is ensconced in lushly flowering bouquets, both painted and sprigged, and ripe apples - Antemann´s rendition of paradise. "Paradise Garniture" breathes fresh life into over three centuries of popular shapes from Meissen whilst simultaneously adding a further chapter to the new-age collection being put together by Chris Antemann and the Manufactory.
