Limited Masterworks 2014 Serving Bell Oriental Strewn Flowers

Order No.: 398184-05M09-1
20 cm, 3000 g
The "Serving Bell Indian Flower Branches" is an extravagant cover for serving bowls and especially interesting for lovers of limited Meissen arts and crafts. Johann Friedrich Eberlein created it in 1740 for the Prime Minister of Saxony, who knew how to hold court magnificently with festive dinner parties. The serving bell is hand-painted with ornate decorations and richly decorated with detailed reliefs. The coat of arms of Count Heinrich von Brühl identifies the porcelain hood as part of the largest Baroque table porcelain, the "Swan Service". It embodies the more than 310 year old craftsmanship of MEISSEN and becomes the absolute highlight of every tableware collection. The hand-painted "Serving Bell Indian Flower Branches" is limited to 25 pieces.
