The idea for the 28 cm high "lionfish" made of Meissen by the Meissen artist Max Hagstotz results from the maritime campaign "Exploring the Blue - MEISSEN Maritime". The lionfish in shining white Meissen porcelain offers the perfect shape to explore the limits of porcelain: it has an oval twill as well as filigree fins, which combine the feeling of maritime lightness with grace and the highest quality standards of craftsmanship.
